: Mk III Rear Brake Cylinders: Read that some of these used Spitfire 3/4" cylinders using the old Turner piston with the slot for the shoes. That appeared to be the case but the new Spitfire cup seal is different than the original and has an ID (.438) that's too big for the Turner piston. Brakes are 8" drum, single acting cylinder mounted on side of backing plate. Any help??

:The Mk.III has a BMC rear axle (Sprite) with Riley 1.5 brakes. There are no Triumph Spitfire parts used for the Mk.III REAR brakes.
