The hardtop on 63/592 is very similar to the Frogeye Mk I type though has a different front catche mechanism that has a 1/4 turn twist "wing", this activates the latch - grabbing the windscreen frame.

The rear bottom portion is also configured to fit the Turner MkIII rear deck area, and the rear is held down by a contoured threaded rod that is bonded to the top, the bonded rod is located right at the bottom of the hardtop next to where your shoulders are positions when seated.

The top also had a roof vent fitted at some point, which was removed and "patched up" - so I have decided to reinstall the vent ( it similar to the BMC ralley type vents ) - I suspect this was added when 63/592 had its FIA papers drawn up for road racing.

Bill - I can email you a picture if you are interested.

By the way, I noticed your stage 5 Frogeye is up for sale - I always thought this car was a real gem.
