I am replacing the engine mounts in my Turner race car. I know the Turner Mark III used mounts similar to the Lotus Elan mounts, but how were they supposed to mount? The existing mount off the left side had the rubber exposed on the top with the "closed" end of the bracket on the bottom. the mount on the right side was the other way around with the closed end on top. Is this correct? Should both mounts measure the same in width from block mounting to tab holes? What is the proper measurement from the engine block to the holes in the mounting arms for each side?
I would appreciate any help you can provide (and pictures would be great as well)! Thanks greatly.
