I just acquired the Turner Mk III # 63 592, it is a fine example of the type and very original. I am seeking some tech help in regards to fitting a speedo cable onto the car, as of now there is no cable – thus I took the first drive in the car using the rev counter to determine the MPH. I prefer to rely upon the speedometer to work – so plan to fit the cable if I can get either a repair manual process that shows the install to the Ford/Cortina gearbox , or if any of the group can give me a write up on how to accomplish this task, it should make the job all the easier.
The only other bug is that the fuel gauge reads backwards? Perhaps caused by incorrect hook up of the wiring leads to the gauge or fuel sender unit - anyone that has experience with correcting this, please send word!
Many thanks, and I look forward to participating with the registry,
