Russ:

Thanks.

I'm running a cam with .324 lift & 295-degrees duration in a +.040 bored 948 with flat-top pistons. The new engine has a cam with 0.350 lift & 310-degrees duration plus domed pistons and a +.020 overbore.

Norm

: Hi Norm , the 'stubby' rockers on the Alex head are 1 to 1, where as on the standard engine anything from 1.25 to 1.5, therefore more lift won’t go a miss!
: What Cc engine are you building it on? We used a high lift cam - 276 I think it was on the 1098, And I know Mark F ran a 266 with his on a 1293 and the tickover was nice and smooth
