If you are thinking of loaning out a 12/12.2 pony over the coming months please consider us!
We are looking for a pony for our (just) 9 year old daughter to graduate to from her little 11HH mare. we are looking for a nice natured, easy on the ground pony that she can handle herself. She is very confident with her pony and does everything with her - has attended junior camp at Lancaster P.C. - but a bigger pony will need to be very easy and not quirky - we don't want to put her off! Characterful is fne but not naughty!
Shape, colour, breeding and to an extent age totally immaterial!
easy on the ground
good with others (live out pref.) as we have 4 other ponies!
not sick or sorry
and main thing ..... love jumping!!!!
Daughter is desperate to jump and do WH - her pony is doing her best but really isn't right for this job! She is, really, a lead-rein pony.
Daughter doesn't care about 'fancy' showing and doesn't mind a less 'showy' pony at all.
We would like her to be able to get to know what riding and caring for a bigger pony would be like. She has ridden all shapes and sizes from zingy 11HH to ploddy cobs and we have bigger ponies but nothing in her size!
If anyone has a pony (no huge hurry as she is still riding her little one and bobbing about on our 13.2) that they would be willing to loan or even share if near us in Lancaster please let us know. She is a keen member of Lancaster Pony Club so would want to take the pony there too.
We keep our ponies(and one loan horse)in Lancaster (minutes from the city centre and very easy to get to) on a small friendly yard.
