tornado relief for class of 96' alum

Hey Everyone! I am sending this email out in regards to Eric Heatherman, his wife, Jennifer and his daughter, Karlie. They were victims of the Greensburg tornado last Friday night. They are all okay, however they have lost everything. Their house we ripped off the foundation. There were a few rooms that they could of possibly salvage a few items out of, but they were not let back in until today. After 2 days of hard rains, I am sure they found that many of those items were also destroyed. They did have insurance, but that will not cover all the things that they will need to start over. Who knows how long it will take to get that money? They will need money to live on until that money starts to roll in.

After much thought and talk with Travis Erb, I think it is only fit that we come together as a class and friends. Eric is not the type of person that would ever ask for help, but he is definately one that would be there to help any of us out.

We are taking up donations and hope to get them to him ASAP. I would like to cut him the first check by the end of the week or the first of next. Any amount of money that you can donate would be very much appreciated. If this is a bad time and you just can't afford it we all understand, but if you can spare some cash PLEASE send it Erics way.

Make checks payable to Keri Hester or the Class of 96. I will deposit all money into our class bank account and cut them a check out of there. I will include a card that will list everyone's name that donated money.
