It is more about what Laci was like, what their family was like, and then covers the whole situation from Sharon's viewpoint. It seemed like she tried really hard to believe in Scott for a long time, despite how bizarre his behavior was.
There was some new info in there to me, such as how Laci previously dated a creep.
I ended up feeling a few different things.
1. I'm so grateful for my kids and grandson.
2. I think too much emphasis may have been put on external signs of success in that family, like going to college, being good-looking, etc.
3. Nobody is ever going to know exactly what happened.
4. No matter what, it is tragic to lose a child to murder.
All the proceeds from the book are going to some type of search and rescue fund. Sharon found out that the dogs and handlers looking for Laci were funded by donations mostly and at one point they ran out of money and had to stop.
