like Harry I've always been suspicious of Snape, but he always does a good job of casting it away. I was thinking this was just part of the Order's doing until he did the Unbreakable Vow. I was still willing to give him the benefit of a doubt until he killed Dumbledore. Even then I thought they had somehow worked something out so he wouldn't really die. But with Fawkes doing his song, I had to wonder if maybe he REALLY had died. But then when he showed up in the portrait in the headmaster's office. . . I can't wait to find out what she does with this. I just can't believe he's dead!
As for Snape I'm more than willing to believe the worst about him. LOL BUT I keep wondering if maybe this IS something he has worked out with Dumbledore. I mean it would DEFINITELY end any suspicion the Death Eaters have about his loyalty and would definitely ingratiate him even further with Voldemort. But then there were the other professors' reactions to the deed, and the fact that he had Stupefied Flint.
She certainly has set up a good suspense. I absolutely can't wait for the next book to find out where everything REALLY is.
