I brought home a 3 month old GCC about 5 weeks ago.
He learned to say his first word so easily and so quickly.
He was saying hello in about 4 days. He says it all the time.
About a week and a half ago, I decided to try to teach him a new word(s). I have been repeating "how-you-doin'?" Over and over and he keeps answering me with "hello."
I have tried answering him with "hello. How-you-doin?" a few times and then just saying how you doin?
Is is because it's harder to say three syllables than it is to say two syllable words? Is he too young to learn 3 syllable words? Is it to soon to learn something new after he just learned one word and is having so much fun using it? Or is is just normal for some GCCs to not learn more than one word?
Can any make any suggestions? Thanks.
