If she is laying a lot of eggs, it may prove a health risk to her, and you may want to take steps to try to reduce her egg-laying.
The advice I've heard for this, and you may want to consult your vet, is to make sure she gets 12 hours of darkness, remove anything she's using as nest material, leave the eggs for her to sit on until she loses interest or replace them with dummies, and give her supplemental calcium (a cuttlebone or other good calcium source). Also don't pet her back or under her wings, stick to her head.
