A vet check certainly wouldn't hurt and you would want to do that if you were planning to breed anyway.
As for whether they will all get along, it's hard to say. Most parrots nest in hollows in trees, which are rather rare, so in most species, breeding pairs are fiercely protective of their nests (if they aren't, another pair might come along and toss their eggs/babies and take over). GCC's are a bit of an exception to that as several pairs will often peacefully share a nest instead. But it is only trusted flock members who can share and they will still be aggressive to unknown birds who get near the nest.
So I guess what I am saying is that the pair won't necessarily be aggressive to the lone bird as most parrots would be. But there's no guarantee they won't be aggressive to him either.
