As far as I know, when not captive, they are most active in the morning and evening anyway, and spend the middle of the day napping and preening and noodling around. When I'm working at home and have the cage doors open most of the day, they get a lot quieter as the morning progresses. Yesterday I was heading out around 11 AM and I told them it was time to go into their houses, then I turned around and they were both inside their cages looking at me like, "Dude! We're taking our naps, what's your issue?"
