Are these hinges handed Alan, as the Fairthorpe ones are and have to be fited with the deeper side to the outside of the car.
Alternatives are TR3 bonnet hinges which also have 2 pins front and rear or if you only need them for your bootlid most people go for Herald/Spitfire boot hinges. These only have one pin at the front which is fine for the bootlid but will let the door drop if used on that.
The price on those looks good, let us know if you find out if they are handed and how good they are if you buy some.
I have had some hinges drilled and tapped for new studs before and over size pins fitted by a local engineering firm, cost me beer money only but you could get charged a lot, depends where you go!........Martin
