I am looking for a buyer for a new 2010/11 15AC Sedan.
Tom Lee and I have a very good working relationship and between the two of us we have produced the FIRST new 15AC Sedan fuselage in (now) 60 years!
I am looking for a buyer that is interested in doing the same type arrangement with me to help produce the first NEW 2010/11 15AC Sedan; a new and complete, turn-key, fly-away Sedan. It will have the 180HP Lycoming O-360-A1A engine STC, 80" CS Prop STC, vertical instrument panel STC, extended baggage, large windows, dog-leg conversion STC, dual seaplane doors, lightweight battery, starter, alternator, 3200 series Alaskan Bushwheel Scott replacement tail wheel, the Pawnee tail spring conversion SB, steel tube formers, aluminum stringers, new series double puck brakes, wheels, 8:50 X 6.00 tires, hydraulic parking brake and the new brakes on the co-pilot side conversion.
It will be covered in Ceconite or Stits, finish to be determined; Color scheme to be determined. I will attempt to block out a set of numbers from the FAA like Aeronca did for the Sedan where they all ended in "H" and started from 1000 thru 1491. I may even try to continue on from the original N numbers. I don't know how successful I'll be but I will try.
So, all of this new wonder of the modern age will come and a new modern age price of $225,000.00. There will be a firm contract for the purchase/manufacture. The whole point here is to finish the tooling and get the Sedan back into the air. In the long run this plane is basically the means to an end; there will be no profit in this endeavor but it WILL finish the necessary tooling and setup to produce new Sedans.
If you are my buyer, then I am your company to give you the best bragging rights known in "Aeroncadom"; owner of the first new Sedan in 60 years and help put a beautiful bird back into the air.
I've managed to come this far and now I'll be damned if I'll quit now. There has to be someone out there that loves this plane as much as I that will help me get this done. Is it YOU? Call me @ 907-688-3715.
After all, this STILL is America and this is what made America great; little guys with BIG dreams!
