I've been in both schools that do and don't allow it sm

I'd much rather be in a school that allowed it. There was MUCH LESS disruption in the classes, I felt safer because there was no fighting in the halls, no weapons, no need for security gates, no drugs, just much calmer kids doing their school work.


I don't agree with them not explaining things to you first though. THey should realize that most people moving from another state are not familiar with that type of punishment.


One of the schools I went to the high school kids would have much rather had then principle give them a paddling than have him call their fathers off the ranch to deal with it (as lost time on the ranch going to town to deal with the child is lost money for the entire family).
