some regular dentists can do a simpler root canal but when they get into more roots/complex the specialist needs to do them.
Finding a good endodontist is another matter. I had some really good ones but once had a bad one who could not do the block properly and injected me 3 times, still could not deaden it and I almost had a heart attack, my heart was going so fast. I went to the front desk and told them to book me with the head dude on another date or they were going to be calling an ambulance! I think the guy was new to the practice or something.
My regular endodontist sings country music during his procedure along with the overhead music. He said the root canal would be fine but he might torture me with his vocals. haha
