I'm going to try this! We have a CVS up the street. Our Medicare supplement OTC card will probably cover it. DH uses Biofreeze on his hands, very arthritic, and says it helps some. I tried it today and did not notice any difference other than the cool feeling (and it smells of stinky wintergreen). Maybe I didn't give it a chance and should try it a few times.
I saw where rotator cuff injuries can come from age/degenerative causes. I'm 71.
I can be totally still in a chair or bed and without moving the arm, the shoulder still aches, very annoying. This started a few months ago and now I'm wondering if I hurt it lifting.
Can't take NSAIDS anymore (arrhythmia) or aspirin (GI bleeding). Can't have steroids (tach). Most Rx painkillers like hydrocodone make me nauseous. I guess the martini is the best choice. LOL.
I will try the Arnica. Thanks for the tip Pam!
