It has a hose to run to hot water line under sink and a cold water line to toilet tank. Husband had to drill a small hole in side of bathroom cabinet to run hose out from sink to Bidet.
Since water in line is cold at first, good idea to turn knob to nozzle-cleaning mode and run water thru it to get it to warm up faster, then move knob to clean mode.
You can see what I'm talking about by looking at closeup of 3 knobs on Amazon site. We've used Bio Bidet for 10+ years. Other bathroom toilet has only cold hookup because toilet isn't near a sink to attach to hot water line.
This is the most affordable to us, so if anything breaks, it's cheaper to replace.
