Need answers regarding UTI (sm)

I had definite symptoms of a UTI 2 days ago so went to GP. NP said I had white cells and nitrites in the urine and put me on Macrobid and sent it for culture. Symptoms are gone. Doctor's office just called and said culture came back with no evidence of bacteria. What does this mean?

Follow Ups:
