with everything in my heart for sharing your story.
We just never know what life is going to throw at us.
It's all a huge struggle, that much I do know.
You've given me courage...thank you
{{{{HUGS}}} to you.
: garnished from a credit card that I'd been paying on and never seemed to have a lower balance, and I got in a mess because my mom developed Alzheimer's and she was unsafe living at home alone, and although I could work from home she was so active my work was interrupted a great deal, and of course I had no money to hire anyone to watch her so I could work.
: So there I was with my check garnished and more creditors sending letters and calling, and I was on my knees crying and called a friend, who told me "bankruptcy." I immediately said NO, I can't! It would be devastating! She said please make an appointment here and gave me a number to call. Within a week I paid my $100 to retain, they ordered the garnishment stopped that day, and I saved for 2 months the money to file, had my hearing and 3 months after that the bankruptcy was discharged. I paid $100 a month to the attorney for another 6 months and I was done.
