Actually she is doing great!

She had two stones removed, bigger than I thought. She came home that evening and did well in the guest room. And she is still there, taking her antibiotic pills and pain liquid.

I'm not sure if it is the pain meds but she is being a sweetheart! This is a kitty that was named Lizzy Borden because she frequently tried to kill me (psychotic attacks, even at my face). She is purring and kneading and sitting on my lap. DH is in shock at how nice she is. Maybe she just likes being alone?

She has a few more days of meds and then we will try to transition her back into the house, but if she likes living alone then maybe I'll change the hard door to a screen door and let her stay in there?

I have urinary tract Rx canned and dry food for her, which she seems to like. (She will have to eat alone for this.) I have special diet (OTC, but better than regular food for urinary tract health) dry food that everyone else will have to change to, as a bowl is always available and she will have access. It is a bit more expensive, but do-able. With 9 cats in the house we do have to be reasonable.

She is using the litter box well, with only one "accident" of pee on the floor. It was just a bit bloody, but nothing like before so she is healing. She isn't crying when she pees, so that tells me it feels better having those stones out!

I am so proud of her. And just thrilled to have her being so sweet. Three years old and DH finally gets to pet her! She is my youngest, so now on to a long wonderful life!
