: She is not the best behaved cat and getting her into a carrier usually ends up with me ripped to shreds. We have been practicing for days to be ready for taking her in tomorrow. Only once was I successful and I was very worried I couldn't get her boxed up in the morning.
: After a couple of conversations the wonderful vet tech came over on her lunch hour (I live 1.4 miles from the hospital) and gave her a little shot! About an hour later Lizzy was pretty out of it and I got her in the carrier and dropped her off. Now I can rest easy tonight, knowing that she will definitely get her surgery in the morning.
: Stephanie also got to meet a few of my other cats, who were probably interested because she smells good! She was impressed that I had a cat-friendly house that is still comfortable to humans. And she said we don't smell like 9 cats!! THAT made me very happy.
: So, Lizzy is going to be pretty unhappy for a few days and then she will be all better!!
