: Last January I started having issues with elevated BP and tachycardia. TSH was elevated at that time and was thought to be the tachycardia culprit. BP has been pretty labile in that it might be 135/88 in the a.m. and 90/50 at night, or it might be 111/70s throughout the day. When my TSH normalized and symptoms continued PCP referred me to cardio, who sent me for an echo which I had yesterday and showed mild mitral regurg, mild tricuspid regurg, and mild pulmonary hypertension. As best I can tell my next step will be a right heart cath to confirm PH. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with PH and what I can expect going forward. I don't have much in the way of symptoms aside from the tachycardia and fatigue which could be related to my Hashimoto's and a presumed diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I do have some mild SOB on heavy exertion but I'm 62 and a smoker (which I'm working on quitting). Additionally I've noted my left hand and occasionally my left index finger go cold. Thanks in advance for any input!
