FedEx frustration again!

I ordered something a week ago from Sam's Club and unfortunately they used FedEx. It's saying the item would be arriving earlier than expected (by tomorrow Saturday the 10th instead of the 14th) but for 7 days it is still saying the package is sitting at the first Fedex destination in California.

So it could be moving across country but the online tracking page that we use is wrong?

I googled this and one comment was that the pkg could be moving but it's not getting scanned. How can that be.

I am not hopeful this package is coming when the site says it is. Grrrrr.
