Hardly anyone has a land line now. Is there a particular reason you refuse to own a smartphone? Phones offer multi-factor authorization, which is standard now. You log in on computer with your password, then you receive a call on your phone to authorize, then it lets you in.

All industries use this. I am working in a completely unrelated field and needed a smartphone 3 years ago. I use my phone to order my groceries, I have a number of apps I can't do without.
