What is everyone's electric bill with this heat?
Posted by sm on Fri, Aug 13 2021 at 01:37 PM CDT:
Our's is $106 (2000 sq ft house). This is because DH sets the AC at 77-78 which puts my office at 80 degrees. We've never had an electric bill this low in the middle of the summer in all the years we've lived here. I'd rather pay the extra $20-30-40 a month just to not SUFFOCATE!
We have a thermostat war. No matter how many times I lower it even 1 degree, he will put it up again. Can't sleep when it's this warm either and I have a heart condition. Am I being unreasonable? Is 77 cool enough for anyone else?
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR on DH!
Can't wait until I have to go out somewhere so I can turn tine AC in the car on cryonics.
Friday vent over....
