I’m 66. I have had terribly distressing post-menopausal symptoms. Have been on Prempro for 15 years & tried getting off but no luck. Now when I ride my horse, afterwards it hurts to urinate & a little blood comes with the urine. I got antibiotics for slight infection but this continued. So my Dr gave me Premarin cream (vaginally) plus told me to dab a small amount on urethra 3 c week. SOOO when I got the refill instead of Premarin the pharmacy gave me Estradiol cream instead. IS THERE ANY BIG DIFFERENCE? I am confused & the pharmacy can’t explain. The doctors here are SWAMPED & won’t call me back. So if anyone knows, I’m all ears. Thank you!!!

BTW when I ride the symptoms are MUCH LESS but still there.
