: nothing bad has happened yet. We were down to 2 dogs, which we figured was okay because we didn't want to burden anyone if we passed away. Daisy died. We have one chihuahua now, my baby, who is mostly deaf and blind. I am on all kinds of sites to adopt a senior dog, hopefully with no serious health issues, but I was wondering about this exact thing you are going through. I'm so sorry. They should have told you right off. Some problems are not that bad to handle and don't require a lot of vet visits, but that poor guy sounds like he does. But it is not your fault and hope you will keep looking. The one that was meant to be yours will come along.
