: 1 lb ground beef
: 1 small onion, chopped
: 4 C chopped cabbage
: 1 medium green pepper, chopped
: 1 C uncooked minute rice
: 1 C water
: 1 6 oz can tomato paste
: 1 12.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
: 1/2 C ketchup
: 2 T vineger
: 1-2 T Sugar (optional)
: 1 T Worchestershire sauce
: 1 tsp salt
: 1/2 tsp pepper
: 1/2 tsp garlic power
: Brown ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Add cabbage and green pepper.
: In a bowl combine tomato paste and water. Stir in remaining ingredients (except rice). Pour over beef mixture. Mix well.
: Stir in rice about 1 hr. before serving.
: 4-6 hr. on low or until rice and vegies are tender.
: This was a little drier than I would like. Next time I will add more liquid.
