and cooked bacon cut into little pieces.
For the dressing: 2 T Italian dressing (fat free works fine too), 2 T low-sodium soy sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon (or more according to preference). Mix this all together and drizzle over your salad.
The rice and sauce just makes this dish delicious!
I made this the other night and had this as the only side dish with a pork tenderloin I made too. I'm trying to get DH to eat some greens. He hates greens. He even asked if he was supposed to eat the "stem" of the "leaves." LOL!
Anyhow, HE LOVED THIS! In fact, the next night he ended up eating the leftover salad and added some tenderloin and that was his supper. It was shocking!
