Nan's filled sugar cookies - I copy/pasted Win's post over here

So if it looks odd, it's because I copied the name and subject fields, too, and I don't feel like taking time to edit it. Nan suggested 1-inch diameter because they are so rich, and apparently Cookie Monster did just that.

It's 1 c. butter, 1/3 c. heavy cream, 2 c. flour; cream or blend sm

together. Divide into about 5 pieces and chill in frig. Then roll out and cut into shapes. Dip in sugar. Put on a cookie sheet. Prick with a fork or toothpick. Bake at 375 degrees fpr 7-9 minutes.

Filling: 1/4 c. butter, 3/4 c. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla; cream together.

Spread filling onto one cookie topping with another.
