1-1.5 lbs hamburger - You can use less if it's leaner, more if it's fattier. I generally stick to 93% lean or leaner and use about 1.25 lbs.
1 packet McCormick Original Chili Seasoning mix
1 can tomato soup
1 can diced tomatoes (I prefer the petite size dices)
1 can black beans (I prefer Bush's because they're usually bigger than the generic brands)
1 can kidney beans (light or dark red, any brand)
Brown the meat and drain of any accumulated grease. I like to get it pretty fine rather than chunky. Add the seasoning mix packet and stir it in, then add the soup, tomatoes, and beans. I usually don't drain the beans, but DH usually does. I like my chili a bit thinner than he does.
