The bacon grease reminded me of something else my mom makes sm

(and supposedly we have a little PA Dutch in us somewhere along the line). She takes raw potatoes, slices them on a baking sheet. Then she melts leftover bacon greast and brushed it on each slice. Then she sprinkles with s&p and paprika. I'm sure it's so bad for us, but it is so good. Once in a while I'll make this, but I just use vegetable oil on the potatoes. (It is better with the bacon grease.)
