Another fruitcake cookie recipe

1 c. margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
3 c. flour, divided
1 lb fruitcake fruit
1 qt shelled pecans, finely chopped (4 cups)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in little water

Cream marg, add sugar and then beaten egg yolks. Sprinkle some flour over fruit and pecans. Mix
ingredients in order listed. Beat egg whites until and fold in. Drop by scant tsp on greased
cookie sheet. Bake @ 350 degrees for 10-15 min, doesn't take very long! Batter can be frozen and
cookies freeze well before and after baking.
