I post not to just stay in touch with time served Veterans, but to notify the none branch or none Association connected military family what is going on,the Regiment has through sands of time has sadly dwindled from Battalion strength to COY strength, we are probably at platoon strength with honoured sections (silent ones),notification like I'm not going to this or that event respectively doesn't help the military family as the main reason for a reunion is to come together as served brothers in arms and meet that one person we have not seen in years ,reunions are getting smaller and change is happening but the Association is trying to address this but need input, sorry to say but they dont have the military family bond that we that are left have, Branches could do more to support each other and enjoy social gatherings,
The formal and social gathering on St George's Day (24th) was hoping to be more of a reunion date bringing ex services and wives partners ,families together, in this coronation year, keep talking keep the site vibrant with your comments telling offs are allowed but most of all
STAY FRIENDS ?
