[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Main Board ] When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Thank you Brian,,A number of weeks back I started to feel unwell with a temperature Lynn insisted on getting a ambulance within 20 min I was on the emergency floor of St Richards this was the Thursday before Rememberance Sunday ,diagnosed with sepsis they started treating me with intravenous antibiotics got the infection down to a manageable level for tablets to take over a few days home started to feel unwell again the doctor said finish the course of antibiotics, we didn't listen to him and went to hospital, the sepsis had returned with a vengeance, the strongest antibiotics the hospital could administer was pumped into me,I must say I was very ill ,last Sunday was my lowest day .
I have lost nearly two stone in weight and I'm now hopeful on the road to recovery, just a reminder to you all sepsis got Rod Arnold, Sepsis I think got Bob Bumstead and many more got it ,
Thank you all well wishers and your messages last Sunday was so helpful in not letting go and forcing me on,just got to build strength and soldier on Thank You
