As long as it doesn't get me into trouble?
You signed a contract with the Queen which you kept with your adopted military family no one can take away your roots so I look on it as having dual identity, like some one having two passports.
We are coming up to rememberance and you can honour your past family by parading there medals on the Right side grandkids love to honour there family by doing this and we as veterans respect the children and grown ups and widow's for their relatives past service its what rememberance is about .
Going back to the main Question your honouring your military family with pride and respect you still have your roots but have branched out with your own family and that's where you build your own beliefs and traditions.
With respect we all have our own veiws on things that has happened on this sight and we thank the webmasters for allowing freedom of speech, I will bring up one subject not to stir things up but the low turnout at the reunion is a worrying future because without timeserved veterans
It can't be called a reunion it's a Royal Sussex Association Dinner ,a reunion is a meeting between two bodies who have worked or served or went to school with if you sit down with persons you don't know its a dinner? Iv gone off track abit Dilly but with respect to you and with my age I have to tell it as it is regards Dave
