When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Tony it's a shame we can't see what we are getting, perhaps a image would help on there own website, I am being polite no one buys what they can't see ?
Price of stamps is a killer on a old age tradition of sending cards.
We are watching our penny's so if buying Christmas cards the card factory and pound land seem to draw us towards them if sending Christmas cards,
Don't be put of by my points just pointing out the obvious,if I had a surplus of cards the Association could give them to the Branches to give out to widows and walking wounded. And design a more modern cheaper card with say up to date Association info like phone numbers websites, emergency contact info are even a Calendar with notable dates on some thing useful, I'm open for more updates on moving forward just call me for how to make a million £
