When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't
have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name.

Well done Dilly, good post. I do agree with all you have put forward.
However, I believe it’s the association who should change ties and badges. We have our Regimental tie, our Regimental blazer badge, they belong to the veterans who served in the Royal Sussex Regiment, not the association .They should design regalia for the non veterans to wear, not steal ours.
They definitely shouldn’t wear our Regimental regalia, as it’s false honour, they should be arrested for wearing military uniforms to which they are not entitled.
The main problem is the association will not listen to the veterans as it’s mainly run for civvies.
