Dilly, Its good to have a rant now and again, their use to be what we called debating what seems to be done away with these days and in schools etc, those days you could desagee with each other, but it gose no further and have a beer after, not a fight. Dilly nothing has changed about who can wear a Royal Sussex tie, Medals, etc, off your parants, Grandchildren etc, etc. or even close friends etc, espesially on Rememberance days etc. this is about the new Dress Code and about one thing only the change of the for any civilian to wear the full Royal Sussex kit as if they had served in the Regiment. Why not join the Army or TA. By the way at the time I joined the Signals in Germany I also served like the rest of us at that time in a Rifle company, in Malta, Sardina,North Africa and 6 months in Aden etc. We did not look at our selfs as secialists or different from other platoons etc. Please look at the bigger picture. I have always read your posts and liiked them,we are not such a small group as made out, as a lot of us do not bother with the message boards but talk and see each other at our own dos. and no we are not all dieing their is 20 Years + in a lot of us, I met Brig Mike Constantine the other day he was just like a lot of us now at our age just as fit and healthy as usual.
