Brian thank you.
Fully respect your veiws and like Les I have been in trouble for opening my mouth but I fully appreciate what the Association set out to do but one man can't do it alone, a Regimental Secretary is desperately needed and the Association don't advertise the fact they need one.
The main point is we are proud Royal Sussex served veterans and when you served in places like Aden or Korea it waters it down a bit when a civilian wears your colours, respect to those who want to carry our name forward and they will.
Full respect to Barry and crew for there efforts but you have got to listen to the voices of the veterans or you will destroy yourselves with I'm right and your wrong attitude, the Royal Sussex will live on with the 3rd Battalion Queens Regiment.
To get you all back on track and for every one to play there part in moving forward and we can do this just make the right decision and not preach to us proud served veterans.
Rules? obeying Rules that are on a website that can only be reached by a minority, branch Rules are apparently out of date with Association rules not voted in yet?
If I'm wrong on that point I apologise?
Inflating a situation to get person thrown out of a branch doesn't help as these veterans served with there military family and as you know we will stick together.
Brian don't quit so many on the outside of a branch need your constructed veiws.
On reading the threat to close the Association threats will not work ,as we have the Queensmen.
I think you are all tired of the situations you caused yourselves that by threatening to close is a way of passing the buck so don't fall at the first hurdle
We can fix this so if you need me to come and have a word with you all just call .
Forward the 35th
My comments must not be used to inflame the situation but to instill the Association we are veterans and talk to us like gentleman don't demand what you wish to do be open with your members
