[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Main Board ] When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. battalion was down sennelager using the ranges.went out down the strip with 2 other lads from 6 platoon.We were at the schnell imbiss outside the barracks when the german police approached us.The polizei told us to get into there van and they took us down to Paderborn police station.someone had jumped a taxi and not paid for there ride.The taxi driver looked at us and said something in german to the polizei.The next thing we were told we were free to go ,we were not the squaddies who jumped the taxi.A mp gave us a lift back to camp.Got back to camp dident think anymore of it.Next morning i heard one of the platoon saying him and two others had jumped the taxi.I had a word with these three and they thought it was funny.The thing that annoyed me was that the german police just randomley picked on us 3.I know it was random because the ones who jumped the taxi ,one of them was black and we were all white.
