When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't
have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name.

I cannot believe the lack of understanding. I do not mean Dave, inviting all and sundry, I mean Aden veterans, those who served in Aden, the Royal Sussex personnel who took their bodies to South Arabia and served in the Aden protectorate. That is an Aden veteran.
If you want a reunion that includes everyone, then do not call it a Aden Veterans reunion because it’s not. You cannot advertise it as such, because it’s a lie.
When I went to Aden I was a Royal Sussex soldier, not 3 Queens, that Regiment was hoisted on us a year later.
