When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't
have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name.

In my opinion (And it might be only me) We should make it a Royal Sussex / 3 Queens Reunion. Not just Aden as a lot of younger guys joined The Royal Sussex after Aden. I think Bill Kempton was one of the last to join the regiment in Lemgo.
As for 3 Queens - It wasn't their fault that the regiment was taken away from us. Sussex lads like Bobby Keene went off to join the county regiment and ended up in the Queens. And we were all in 3 Queens whether we liked it or not. We never had a choice.
On the 13th September I will be at L'Anse-Au- Foulon which is where Wolfe's army scaled the cliffs to the Plains of Abraham. After I climb up I will find a pub and have a beer for you lot.
