When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Sorry Rob I respect your veiws but this is about Colours Regiments die to the last man standing, Colours are fought for ,look at the Die Hards ,we are saying out of respect you are doing a good job but it should be under your own badge or colours , The Regiment can go on but but as Barry Lane will tell you the younger generation will carry on with the limited company, all other serving Regiments would not allow this Rob ,and Rob being enthusiastic as you are design your own identity for those not served but respect our Regiment,
I do hope you understand and no anermosity,
When we took the Queens shilling we was expected to live and die by the colours.
P.S. your family was the first military family I met on joining ?
