When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Dress Code ( Telling How I Feel)

Posted by on Thu, Jul 21 2022 at 04:03 PM CDT:

Dear all its in the wording, the dress code from 1967 was for Veterans please do not be mislead by the Association words they still want our colour tie for civilian.
Berret badge, Blazer badge and tie is our Veterans uniform to show the public that we took the Queens shilling, When on a parade for Veterans the public are saluting our service through our civilian uniform recognised by our regalia a civilian should not parade to steal honour.
Gentlemen I don't say any of this to cause conflict I am protecting my Regiment,we should never have got to this stage it is slowly pressing the distruct button and if the higher ranks can't see this then they have no respect for honour of our service or the ones that never made it back.
Design your own tie if you want to be part of us do not falsely parade as soldiers it hurts our pride.
