When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. I know you have heard it all before ? This is different.
The Association has put out a Questionnaire to all branch members and directions for none branch members to voice there opinions on the dress code of wearing Berret and Cap badge of none served Association members.
This Berret badge and colours are our earned veterans uniform earned for service to our Queen civilians should not have the right to wear this if they have not taken the Queens shilling, let's follow the rules of other regiments and don't allow the Walter Mitty syndrome to tarnish our regiments name the Para's or S.A.S.or any other military organisation would definitely say NO WAY ? END OF
All branches have the Questionnaire and perhaps Brian can advise none branch members of the details to have there say, this is most important for us veterans let's put this to bed once and for all.5TH AUGUST CLOSING DATE
