When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Brian is a proud Korea Veteran and a good colleague to have in the Branch as he is a member Chichester Branch Queens as well as Royal Sussex,he has just undergone a knee operation and is excused boots for a few weeks and on light duties,Les Deacon has a good catalogue of Korea photo's ,
We missed ? Or should I say the Association missed a milestone for Korea veterans, I think we should next year have a Royal Sussex Aden veterans reunion next year while we have some of us left ,60 years ago Aden falls in 2025 how many of us left? Could have a Korea and Aden veterans reunion, I could organise this ?
This year is 90 years Royal Sussex I say the Association should give you guys a free one this year and bring Von Armons Staff car out and give every one a ride round Lewes, I know it won't happen sell the car and give us a trip to France.
