[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Main Board ] When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. Must tell you this a fallen comrade who is being commerated this weekend died of a illness not covered by his insurance ? The family could only just about cover a cheap cremation , his wife was upset that they couldn't have a wake so friends family and veterans will honour his passing at the woodland this weekend that's what charity is all about,Bill Dixon requested his Ashes go to the woodland but his son ? Went off without paying for the plaque so again Charity covered it weather woodland or branch,I have tidied up Bob Jones plot who is in the woodland garden, and Ray Jenks,Granny Goodacre, Nick White,Dave Batchelor,Rick Baker, John Blanchet,just a few names that you should recognise and you say it's not backed by the Association all services are recognised in the woodland and backed by the P.W.R.R.
